Carbon Adsorbers

Carbon adsorbers are exceptionally effective at removing sulfur compounds, volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and noxious odors from process exhaust streams in industrial, commercial and municipal applications. The superior corrosion resistance of fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) makes it ideal for these highly corrosive applications.

In a typical carbon adsorber, polluted exhaust streams are exposed to activated carbon which attracts and binds to the unwanted organic molecules in the waste stream, resulting in a clean exhaust stream. They can be used alone or as a polisher for chemical scrubbers or biofilters / biological filters systems.

Carbon adsorbers can be precisely engineered to specific sulfur compounds, mercaptans and VOCs. In addition, their relatively small size makes them easy to use in remote locations.
